First: Bryan Lynn presents All About America. He tells us all Robert Goddard, the late American physicist known widely as “the father of modern rocket propulsion.” His work in the early 1900s proved that machines could travel outside of Earths atmosphere into space. Next: French scientists have set a new record of 22 minutes for maintaining hydrogen atoms in a state called plasma.
