Then Bryan Lynn has a report on new discoveries about Venus. New examinations of data from Venus show the planet is more volcanically active than previously thought. The latest research builds on past evidence suggesting ongoing volcanic activity in other areas of the planet.

Following the report, Ashley and Bryan have a discussion about what scientists think the new discovery tells us about the planet Venus.

On Lesson of the Day, Andrew Smith and Jill Robbins talk about what it means to make resolutions and what an audition is. They use scenes from Lets Learn English to teach the ideas in a funny way. Anna tries to get a part in a local play and meets success in a way.
